The people of Suffolk County deserve a District Attorney who puts public safety first by consistently doing what is right. This involves protecting our essential workers and actively working to rebuild relationships and trust. Public safety requires us to honor and respect our teachers, nurses, emergency medical personnel, healthcare workers, police officers, and firefighters. As your next District Attorney, I am committed to restoring the trust that has been eroded and ensuring our public servants receive the respect they deserve.

As part of my commitment to public safety, I will ensure that Suffolk County has a District Attorney who is focused on sexual assault cases and providing the necessary resources to bring predators to justice. As a mother, I am passionate about protecting children from heinous acts that rob them of their childhood. As a woman and your next District Attorney, I am determined to hold accountable those who harm others through rape or by knowingly infecting an intimate partner with a sexually transmitted disease. I am dedicated to pursuing legislation to extend the statute of limitations on aggravated sexual assault, make it a crime to knowingly infect an intimate partner with an STD, and protect the privacy of sexual assault survivors. 

I will support and protect any brave survivor, who has the courage to come forward. 

As part of my commitment to public safety, the residents and people in Suffolk County will have a District Attorney dedicated to protecting our seniors and advancing laws to prevent and penalize financial exploitation of the elderly, high-risk, or disabled individuals. That's why I've drafted and will submit a proposed law aimed at making such exploitation a felony under the Commonwealth's laws. 

Since 2008, I have worked diligently to protect seniors against financial scams and will make it a priority to prosecute those who prey upon our elderly.  Just ask Calvin Morris,  1 house plus 2 owners equals big mess – Boston Herald 

The people of Suffolk County deserve a District Attorney who genuinely cares about enhancing the lives of our veterans, those impacted by drugs, and victims of sexual assault. I am committed to ensuring that our specialty courts, including Drug Court, Homeless Court, Human Trafficking Court, and Veterans Court, have the resources and staff they need to help participants move beyond the criminal justice system.

The current District Attorney recognized my knowledge and expertise by appointing me as Legal Counsel to all Suffolk County District, Municipal, and Specialty Courts. My experience in this role showed me how these courts can thrive under strong leadership. I have also served as an advisor to key community leaders, including the President of Whittier Street Health Center, and participated as a member in the Healey Driscoll Transition Committee for Jobs and a Flourishing Economy for All, alongside incredible leaders from across the state. Additionally, I served the Massachusetts’ Chief Accountability Officer, Auditor Diana DiZoglio's communication and engagement transition team, and currently serve as legal counsel to the largest Chapter 32 systems in the Commonwealth.

Returning to the District Attorney's office to do the work I love would be a tremendous honor. With over 30 years of service to the Commonwealth, this opportunity will allow me to focus on what I care about most: public safety, protecting seniors, and prosecuting sexual assault crimes.
